The growth in demand is the result of a movement to replace employees, it is not yet an increase in the number of employees. "There is nothing to celebrate yet, because it is a timid movement," says Renato Trindade, manager of the consultancy.

Three years later, the signs of growth in the hiring of engineers come from the automotive and chemical sectors. According to Trindade, in 2018 he recruited more professionals for the automotive sector than in the whole of last year.
“The automotive industry is resuming and there is a whole chain of suppliers that have the market moved by it. The chemical area, one of the last to suffer from the crisis, is resuming more strongly because it is the basis for most of the industries ”, explains the executive.
The largest volume of contracts is in the Southeast and Trindade highlights the automotive and metals market in the state of Minas Gerais, with a demand pole for engineers. Recife region (PE) and the base industry in southern Brazil have also had more hires.
